Drink Up Shop

Drink Up Shop is an app that makes the process of ordering Alcohol easier for individuals and big events and helps find the best deals at stores near you.

I was brought on to the project after a year to create a more modern design that is accessible by both Android and iPhone users.

Duration: 4 Months

Goals

The primary goal was to design a user interface that is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and intuitive to use. Our aim was to provide the user with a clear and concise overview of their journey from finding the store, the alchohol they desired, and a seamless checkout process.

Additionally, we wanted to ensure that the UI was easily accessible on both Android and iPhone devices.

Challenges

There were a few challenges. One challenge was ensuring that the UI standards were easily adaptale on both frameworks.

Additionally, we had to consider the ease of checkout and make sure the user was fully aware of what they were buying, the cost, and order tracking.

Success Criteria

In order for this to be a success we would need to design an app that was very intuitive and easy to use with a seamless checkout that followed best practices.

Drink Up Shop Flow

Once the wireframes were complete I created a style guide, component library, high-fidelity mockup and prototype for the dev team to implement.

Onboarding

We wanted to keep the sign up process simple with only 4 screens before being brought to the main home scree.

Main Screens

These screens allow the user to browse through categories, alcohols, and liquor stores.

Cart & Order Tracking

Providing an easy checkout for the user with all the information in one place as well as realtime data tracks the user's purchase and gives an approxiamte delivery time.

The Solution

Focusing on our goals from our initial research, we successfully created the Drink Up Shop app.
